I am very pleased to announce that my friend HARDY WALLACE is the new Wine Country Lifestyle Correspondent for Murphy-Goode Winery!

Three months ago, my friend Hardy Wallace flew all the way from Atlanta, Georgia to sunny San Francisco to be the first to apply for the Murphy-Goode opportunity. As he approached the purple tent on Market Street with the banner “AReallyGoodeJob.Com”, Hardy confidently stepped up to the plate as the first candidate to apply for the job! Moments later he was approached by reporters from the San Francisco Chronicle, Santa Rosa Press Democrat, and CBS 5 San Francisco.

Hardy’s dream job at Murphy-Goode will be to share his passion with wine lovers all over the world using social media tools such as his blog “GoodeToBeFirst”, Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, LinkedIn, Wine 2.0, The Open Wine Consortium and countless other platforms. Not only is it fun and interactive but it creates a personal bond between you and the people who work hard to produce your wine.
It was a tremendous joy to meet Hardy at the Wine Blogger’s Conference and let me tell you how passionate this man is about wine, family, and friends. Hanging out with Hardy is like hanging out with your best friend from out of town. You’re not sure how much time you have to visit so you embrace that moment like it was your last.
For me, Hardy Wallace represents the motto “You are what you do”. You CAN achieve your dream and WILL achieve your dream if you really apply yourself, work hard and of course, be first to seize the moment.
Three moths ago (wow… a lot has happened since then) I made a commitment, like Hardy, to achieve my dream job to work for a winery in my home town of Napa Valley. Today, that dream grows stronger by the minute… literally. For those of you who have big dreams and need that push, I encourage you to watch this video and really listen to his words.
Here’s to your success, Hardy! Cheers!
