My Dream. One Step Closer

admin | July 7th, 2009 - 10:19 pm

Over the past 2 years I have been dreaming about working in the wine industry and following the footsteps of the great pioneers who discovered the quality of Napa Valley.  Lee Stewart, Warren Winiarski and Mike Grgich harnessed this rich volcanic soil and produce some of the greatest wines known to man.  My dream is to do the same.

I thank Murphy-Goode for creating this wonderful opportunity. Since May 11th, I have discovered how I can apply my skills into creating a business movement to support the wine industry.  I would also like to thank Paul Mabray for bringing the Vintank 8 together and showing us that unity is the foundation of the wine industry.

Looking back over the past two months, I find that this experience has made me into a stronger person.  I have more confidence in everything I do.  I have wonderful new friends who have the same dream.  I have growing relationships with my favorite wineries and I believe I’m onto a web 2.0 strategy that will push one lucky winery up to a whole new level.

Tonight I lift my glass of 2004 Jessup Cellars Mt. Veeder Merlot and salute everyone who took the leap of faith as I have. I would like to congratulate my friends Hardy Wallace, Todd Haven and Eric Hwang for making the Murphy-Goode Top 10.

Thank you Murphy-Goode, Thank you Vintank and a very special thanks to all my Family and Friends.  And thank you Anita for your love and support.  I can’t wait to see what we do next.

  1. This is really touching, Frank. Thanks for posting.

I also believe this is very applicable for many of us seeking work in the wine industry and through the Murphy-Goode opportunity. I DO hope that we continue to work together and believe we will find jobs worth dreaming about — all while cheering on the Murphy-Goode Top 10 in these last stages of its search.

    Cheers,
    Alina

You’re a class act, Frank. A winery that brings you onboard is a smart and very lucky one, indeed.

Let us know how we can help to make that dream come true.

*schmooch* way across the Atlantic (or better the other way over the Pacific?) — in anyway, *virtual hugs* for a great guy on a wonderful journey.

From the moment I noticed you, Frank, you have shown yourself to be a classy guy who knows what he wants and goes for perfection.

I agree with Alina and Todd: you are going places and we all look forward to being part of your journey!

    Greetings to you and Anita,
    Andrea

Not to be cliche` but the analogy of bird learning to fly begins by it steping out of its element, stretching its wings and making that leap as it builds its strength to learn to fly and then, the sky is the limit. Flying is inate for the bird, built for soaring in they sky.

But you, with talents you have shown, your desire and the willingness to persue your dream, reminds me of an eagle that has taken flight looking to establish its place on earth. I admire you for focusing on the path that lies befoe you and not letting anything deter you from that goal. Any company that brings you on board can know that they are partnering with a person with a winning attitude, driven to continue to make that dream come true.

Along with all the rest of your Goode friends, I tip my hat to you and Anita for a well orchestrated campaign, and leting us all experience see the vision that lies witin you.

I look forward to seeing more of your work,

    Sincerely, Pappason

Frank, you have been an amazing person throughout this entire experience, and I am certain your dream will soon become a reality in a way no one can even begin to imagine now. You brought a remarkable set of skills and a deep passion to this opportunity, and many who were watching will likely be secretly glad that you’ll be free over the next seven months for the jobs they’ve undoubtedly concocted for you.

Best of luck through all of this – I’ll be cheering you every step of the way.

    Frank,

Your video skills are on a higher level than any of ours. When I first saw your video, my impression was a combination “oh wowwwwwww! and then oh shi*****!!!!!” It belongs on the big screen.

What I love? Is that you’ve continually put out great content that shows you can repeat the success.

You have a bright road ahead, and this is just the end of the beginning.

    Hardy
